Oakdale Open Series Round 2 Rules

This is a qualifying competition is open to visitors and Oakdale members, with a WHS handicap index (28.0 for men, 32.0 for ladies). Pairs can be comprised of any gender.
- Entry: £50 per pair.

- Format: 4BBB Stableford
- Tees: Yellow (Men's Course Rating 70.0, Slope 133), Red (Ladies Course Rating 72.4, Slope 134)
- Handicap Allowance: 85%
- Entry is subject to all players having a valid current Handicap Index and having submitted a minimum of 6 qualifying scores in the 12 months prior to the day of the competition. Scores submitted for initial handicap allocation do not count towards these 6 scores.
- Teams with players that have not submitted the required number of qualifying scores may play in the competition, but are not eligible to win prizes.
- We only have a few Buggies available. Please pre-book through the Pro shop on 01423 567162 ext. 1.
- If there are any changes to your team after making the booking, please send changes, including the new players CDH number to operations@oakdalegolfclub.co.uk so that we can update the start sheet and do a handicap check.

The Competition played throughout the year; 7 Rounds available to play. Three prizes will be given for each event with normal countback rules applicable, with a Grand prize at the end of all the events. To qualify for the Grand prize, you must have entered at least 3 of the 7 events throughout the year. The pairing must also remain the same throughout the 3 or more rounds to count towards the grand prize. Should you play with a different partner this will count as a separate team for the grand prize considerations.
For the Grand Prize, the teams' best 3 scores count.
The Grand Prize will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th place teams.
In the result of a tie for any of the places:
The team with the highest individual score across any of the 7 rounds will be awarded the position.


Eligibility:
Entry is open to females and males who are members of a golf club or iGolf and have a WHS Handicap Index. Maximum Handicap Index 28.0 for men, 32.0 for ladies. Players must hold amateur status.

Entry Requirements and Dates:
Players must sign up for the competition through the Intelligent Golf (IG) competition and tee booking system. All CDH numbers must be supplied on entry. Team member names can be amended on the day.
The competition entry fee will be paid on sign-up. The closing date is midnight the day before the competition.

Competition Format including Handicap Allowance:
This is an 18 Hole 4BBB Stableford competition. Play will be from the Yellow tees (Men) and Red tees (Ladies). Playing Handicap allowance will be 85%.

On the Day of Play:
Players are required to visit the Registration Desk in the Professional Shop and agree their Handicap Indexes.
The Players Gross score for each hole must be recorded in the correct box. Team captains can decide if they then include the net score and points or just the points next to each gross score.

Scorecards must be agreed and signed by both the player and marker. Please check the gross scores are allocated to the correct player.

Scorecards must be handed in to the Registration Desk in the Professional Shop as soon as possible after finishing the round.

The usual rules on countback apply.

The Pace of Play Policy is in operation.

Local Rules are on the scorecard. The starter will inform you of any Temporary Local Rules.

Results will be finalised and posted on the Club Website the following day.

Cancelation policy

In the event of adverse weather conditions causing the closure of the course, the club reserves the right to cancel the competition in its entirety. A full refund will be issued under these circumstances only.

*Any disputes or decisions the golf club have the right to withdraw individuals and/or pairs.
