Ladies Invitation Day Rules

Am-Am
Teams of 4 with 2 to count on each hole with all to count on Par 3's
Maximum of 2 Oakdale players per team

Eligibility;
Entry is open to fully paid-up female members only and their guest(s) who must be a member of a golf club and have a WHS Handicap Index. Fully paid-up means either their subscriptions have been paid in full for the year, or a formal and signed arrangement is already in place with Oakdale Golf Club for monthly payments, at the time of signing up for the competition. Maximum Handicap Index 54.

Entry Requirements and Dates:
Players must sign up for the competition through the Intelligent Golf (IG) competition and tee booking system, entering the CDH number of their guest(s).
Entry to the competition will be open from 1st March. The competition entry fee will be paid on sign-up. The closing date is midnight the Monday a week before the competition.
To make effective use of the tee, your tee time and playing partners may be moved to condense the start sheet when undersubscribed.
If the competition is oversubscribed, a waiting list will be handled by the Ladies Competition Secretary.

Competition Format including Handicap Allowance:
This is an 18 Hole AmAm Stableford competition. Two to count on all holes, with all four to count on the Par 3’s. Play will be from the Red tees. Playing Handicap allowance will be 85% of Exact Course Handicap (calculated to 3 decimal places and then rounded up or down to give the Playing Handicap in accordance with the 2024 rules of handicapping).
Prizes will be issued in accordance with the Ladies section rules.

On the Day of Play:
Players are required to sign for the competition by using the IG App. For those without this facility sign-in will be in the Pro Shop. Any player not signing-in will not have a score for either the competition or for handicap.
Players are expected to use the IG App to enter their score (and that of the player who they are marking for, negating the need to use a scorecard or upload a photograph).
For those without access to the IG App and using a scorecard it must be completed legibly and signed by a marker and the player and must include the Players Full Name, Date, Name of Competition and the Players Course Handicap. The Players Gross score for each hole must be recorded, scorecards should be put in box in the Ladies locker room or given to Ladies Competition Secretary or a member of her team on the day.

Scores must be recorded promptly and submitted as soon as possible after the finish of their round.
The Pace of Play Policy is in operation – a four ball should take no more than 4 hours 15 minutes for 18 holes, (including a visit for refreshments at the halfway house)

Local Rules and Temporary Local Rules apply.
Model Local Rule G-6 is in operation: During a round, a player must not ride on any form of motorized transportation except as authorized by the Club.
Model Local Rule I-1.1 is in operation: Rule 5.2a is modified in this way: A player must not practice on the competition course before or between rounds
Model Local Rule I-2 is in operation: Rule 5.5b is modified in this way: Between the play of two holes, a player must not: make any practice stroke on or near the putting green of the hole just completed.
