Oakdale is honoured to be associated with Dr Alister MacKenzie, the legendary architect of golf courses the world over, famously including Royal Melbourne, Cypress Point and Augusta National, home of The Masters. Dr Mackenzie designed the course at Oakdale in 1914. Although modified over the past 100 years, much of the original design remains unaltered.
Visitors and societies are guaranteed to receive a warm welcome both on and off the course at this, one of the premier golf clubs in the north of England, holder of the Yorkshire Order of Merit award.
Why not come along to enjoy what Oakdale Golf Club has to offer as it proudly celebrates its Centenary Year.
